Your contributions help ensure TACO's sustainability and create more opportunities to share our music with the community and listeners!

As a community-supported organization, we rely on grants and donations from generous supporters like you to sustain our program. TACO is guaranteed a wonderful venue by being a class in the Los Altos Recreation Department. Musicians pay $31/$35 per session to participate in a session, and TACO only receives $12 per registrant, which is not sufficient to cover our operating expenses.

It's truly amazing to see how much TACO has grown in popularity over the years, which also has presented some challenges. Our sessions have grown over 400%, from 20 musicians at its inception in the Winter of 2010 to an average of 85 musicians attending each month, drawing from a growing mailing list of over 950 musicians.

TACO operates as an emerging non-profit with guidance and oversight by the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation (LAMVCF), who manage the orchestra fund, and enables TACO to apply for grants and receive tax-deductible donations from supporters like you.

TACO is also supported by SVCreates, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara.
