Fall Fundraising Drive!
Join us in supporting TACO! Your contribution will help ensure TACO's sustainability and create more opportunities to share our music with the community of players and listeners!
This year marks TACO's 15th anniversary of community music-making (click on the blue line to read more).
It's truly amazing to see how much TACO has grown in popularity over the years, which also has presented some unexpected challenges. Our sessions have grown over 400%, from 20 musicians at its inception in the Winter of 2010 to an average of 85 musicians attending each month in 2024, drawing from a growing mailing list of over 950 musicians.
Musicians pay $31/$35 per session to the city rec department to participate in a TACO session. TACO is guaranteed a wonderful venue, but only receives $12 per registrant which is not sufficient to cover our other operating expenses. As a community-supported organization, we rely on grants and donations from generous supporters like you to sustain our program.
Join us on March 30, 2025 at Spangenberg Theater, Gunn High School in Palo Alto for a very special celebration of our 15th Anniversary:

TACO operates as an emerging non-profit with guidance and oversight from the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation (LAMVCF), which manages the orchestra fund and enables us to apply for grants and receive tax-deductible donations from supporters like you.
TACO is also supported by SVCreates, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara.
