TACO Wins SVCREATES Grant

We are happy to share that TACOSV has won a grant from SVCREATES!

Thank you SVCREATES for your trust and support of what we do: providing fun, interesting, inclusive, engaging orchestral sessions for adult musicians with a broad range of skills, while building community through a shared love of music!

GRANT ANNOUNCEMENT

SVCREATES unrestricted operating grants, offered in partnership with the County of Santa Clara, California with additional funding from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, provide general operating support for small nonprofit arts and culture organizations that:

  • Reflect the dynamic, diverse, and innovative character of Santa Clara County

  • Demonstrate commitment to equity, inclusion, and artistic vibrancy and relevance

  • Positively impact the County’s cultural ecosystem through active and sustained engagement with audiences, volunteers and artists

  • Pursue organizational sustainability in service to the local community

In addition to annual unrestricted funding, SVCREATES operating grantees receive access to a suite of resources and services, including workshops, coaching, and peer support roundtables.

This year, SVCREATES is proud to provide operating funding to 73 organizations—groups that represent a range of diverse disciplines, cultural practices, and programming. A complete list can be found here.
