It's truly amazing to see how much TACO has grown in popularity over the years. Our sessions have expanded from 20 musicians in 2010 to an average of 85 musicians attending our popular monthly sessions in 2023, drawing from a mailing list of over 870 musicians. That’s a 400% increase!
To operate sustainably, we rely on part-time staff working with volunteers to keep TACO going. Participation fees alone cannot cover all our operating costs. As a community-supported organization, we depend on grants and donations from generous supporters like you to help sustain TACO.

TACO operates under the fiscal sponsorship of the Los Altos Mountain View Community Foundation, which manages the orchestra fund, provides oversight, and enables our emerging non-profit to receive tax-deductible donations from supporters like you.
TACO is also supported by grants from LAMVCF, Melvin and Geraldine Hoven Foundation, and Silicon Valley Creates, in partnership with the County of Santa Clara.
